Scarecrow Build
The scarecrow build is always a fun project in first grade. The students each brought in an item for the scarecrow. Then they worked together to build their scarecrow with very little help from me. The point of the project was to watch the students work in small groups. I am am happy to report we had not a single fight!!! Afterwards, the students named their scarecrows and we put them in the hallway to display for conferences.
